Well, it was sunny and cool here but I suspect something's coming, the sky is getting greyer and greyer from the east.

What a damning enditement of modern television, of all the stuff that was on over Christmas what made me chuckle most was a Morecambe and Wise stage show recorded back in '73!
I think I read in the paper today that 86% of the xmas tv were repeats,so where is the licence fee going?

Another lot of repeats on today as well.

happy days

All the happiness that used to be

Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

The snow had melted by the time I got up, snowy up in Derby at the moment where we are.

No snow here, grey skies were simply that, grey skies, nothing came of it. Bit parky out but other than that its fine.

Regarding Derek, he was online at the back of 11 this morning but as he didn't post anything I suspect that was Lillian looking in on his behalf as she has done before.

Best option Anthony, keep out of the way and let them get on with it!

Did you see what I ended up doing yesterday? Ging had arranged to spend a few days with a friend in Penrith including a party last night without checking if the trains were running, they weren't! Muggins had to drive her down to Penrith! No way I was staying, friend's husband is an ars...., world authority on everything, kind of guy you'd quite happily punch in the face!

Well we are back from the icey realms of Derby, I turn 1 year older tomorrow so we are out tonight on the town celebrating. It is better to do it on a saturday night than a sunday night when the town will be empty.
