Morning, that was one wild night here but I survived! Wind must have reached its peak around 3:20, that's when it woke me up anyway, fitful sleep from then on. Wind has died down a lot now but still an occasional strong gust, had a look around, seems to be nothing more than a couple of pots blown over.

Been to hundreds of rallies over the years some you like some you dont.
I have to agree with Freddie,it was my first POL,I was really looking forward to it,I expected something a lot different, there was something missing, probably the weather was unkind, next days National meet was totally different, great day had by all at a lovely venue at Gaydon.

Even Mrs w44nty said the same, lovely day out at Gaydon but she was bored at POL.

Is it leaking from the rim as the weather as you no doubt know makes the tyres retract in an up and down fashion. I finally went to Havers and had my old tyres resealed.

Morning all. Looking forward to another action packed weekend.

Think of me on Sunday, letting my learner driver son get some driving practice in my beloved 75

Morning Derek, we got off "lightly"here. Winds in central Scotland reached 60+ but there was a gust of 113 recorded in Stornoway.

We had a few big gusts of wind during the night (the binmen will have a cracking job collecting the contents of all the wheelie bins which blew over) but it seems to have calmed down now.
The resumption of post Christmas normal life continues today as I treat SWMBO to her five a day - Morrisons, Iceland, Aldi, Sainsburys and Lidl

My father was a class 1 police driver but he refused point blank to give lessons to family or friends, all too easy to fall out with them! I found that out myself when I took Ging out for a few lessons, especially the time she went through a red light The only time I've ever sworn at her!
