My spare wheel should be here in a couple of days. Looking forward to sticking the cans of Tyre Weld on the shelf in the garage never to see the light of day again! I dare say the stuff works fine if its just a nail in the tyre but I have no desire to wait two hours for a flatbed again if its beyond that.

Contemplating getting one of those vinyl spare wheel covers like you see on 4 x 4s.

Thanks freddie, might have to try a different tack. Kinda struggling to find one small enough, 18" rim, with the tyre takes it to about 22-23", 4 x 4 ones seem to start at 26".

I'm the same George,

You always worry when they don't turn up at their usual time and panic mode sets in, horrible feeling that is replaced with a huge sense of relief when they stroll in nonchalantly as if nothing is wrong

Cats.......don't you just love 'em
