So Happy Easter to All.
Happy Easter Bob, nothing wrong with taking life a bit easier, sorry to hear its compulsory though.

Morning fellow residents - what a gloriousky sunny, but cold, day. I was woken this morning at 7.30am by the sound of neighbours scraping ice off their windscreens - and diesel engines clattering away, trying to get up to heater working temperature. That was a good enough reason to stick my head back under the duvet for another hour

Howdy. Well, I've had a look and it's still there, although full of painkillers (Solpadol)

So the question is,do I replace like for like or do I just stick with my tablet?
I think it depends on what you use the laptop for Steve. I do quite a bit of work using spreadsheets, Photoshop and Microsoft Publisher for things like newsletters etc. I reckon that a laptop is much better for those type of tasks than a tablet. However, if you're only really using it for web browsing, emails, recording the weight of fish you've caught etc. then a tablet would probably suffice

I wanted to cancel my now tv subscription, but it wont let me do it from a tablet or phone, it has to be from a computer

My son is recording his guitar at home this evening. So this is the calm before the strum!

Just been hanging the washing out (I get all the technical jobs in my house) - and it's a remarkably pleasant day out there. The frost has gone, you can definitely feel warmth in the sun, the greenhouse is at 60°F, the birds are nest-building in my eaves - I think Spring has sprung
