First chance I've had to get on here today - son got a call to go to work this morning - as well as his afternoon 2 'til 10 shift - so grandad had to step into the breach to look after grandson who still has one eye covered up and can't go back to school until after half term. Can't really go out either in case anything gets blown into his eyes AND he's not supposed to watch TV except for the odd 10 minutes. My son had password protected his PC so the bairn didn't succumb to temptation - but he didn't tell me what the password is - so I've been 'out of the loop' all day.

So .................. good morning everyone - how are we all today

I've just consumed a home-made corned beef and potato pie, with hash browns, butter beans and half a gallon of gravy.
Pudding - home-made ground almond cake with pastry and aa jam base - now well stuffed
