Morning all - from a very windy North Yorkshire (it's very windy outside the house too). These strong gusts could be down to two factors I think:
  • El Nino
  • The after effects of too much grub (enormous finger buffet + lots of sticky chocolate type gateaux with fresh cream) and the odd bevy or two of cider that was consumed at my Club's Xmas 'do' last night
I think I'll have a nice quiet, lazy morning and then, like a pair of curtains, I'll have to pull myself together, as my brother and his wife are coming for their annual visit to exchange cards etc.

Now that is a horrifying thought
Mind you - with all the different flavours that are out there nowadays - it wouldn't surprise me if someone didn't try it

I thought there were international agreements banning chemical warfare.

Morning Derek - yes, I had a very pleasant evening thanks - although as one of the Clubs unpaid, volunteer, jack of all trades committee men, I seemed to spend half the night 'working'.
I did manage to win a bottle of gin and a bottle of M&S Red Wine on the raffle - which for a £5 investment in the tickets, wsn't a bad return.
