Damn. I was just going to say that they were both wrong, and that neither the 1.8 or the diesel is the best engine. Cos the v8 is.
I was just about to say that, and the NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- thread got closed.

Nah! The best engine is the Leyland TL1.422 unit fitted to my car. Three cylinders of nippy fun-ness!

Good morning all

How is everyone?

A sunny start to the day. Just popping out to clean the pool. We had to shock treat it with 6 bags of salt, as the chlorine was low and this had made it go green with the algae last week. We have a heat wave forecast for the next 10 days and will have to pump up some water from the stream to keep the meadow going. One of the cows is due to give birth on April 15, so we should get some more milk from her after .....that's all
