Poor Ivy, hopefully they will find the reason quickly and have her back home in double quick time.

Pass on our best wishes please Jeff

Good morning Jeff, we are sorry to hear the news. Given that Ivy was in good spirits on discharge from the hospital a few days ago, it will be hard on her and you all, that she is again poorly. One hopes that the Doctors and nurses, do their best to keep her comfortable.

Ivy is very switched on, so I do wonder what her wishes might be. Carry on for the Docs to save her (hypoxia is usually treatable) or is it the time to be looking at end of life care. I don't expect you to answer those hard questions, but they are questions that a Specialist should be addressing with Ros, yourself and the family. Ivy is a fighter, hopefully she will pull through. God bless her heart

Good morning Phil, I saw the pic you posted of your little snorkelling session

That water looked fantastic Sir, it seems strange to see you talking of a 3 day drive back home, I can't quite get my head around distances like those don't exist in britain

We hope that Jessica and yourself are feeling better after your short break, and that the swimming and beach walking has done your leg the power of good. I'm looking forward to catching up with you when you return to this god awful country

Good morning Tony

So far, so good with the walking and swimming. Yesterday we swam out to the reef. It's easier to cut through the waves with a mask and snorkel. We had left our flippers behind and that made the swimming more challenging.

The 3 days drive back is because the main road is being rebuilt and it is hard bone shaking driving in places. Only one road: Mombasa to Nairobi. I am having to pace myself, stop every 2 hours to stretch my legs. We enjoyed our break immensely and if it is too cold in Nairobi in July, we will be back at the coast.

Here is a selfie from yesterday - the coral at the reef was beautiful with many pretty and unusual looking fish to see

Have a good day Tony

Morning, hasn't stopped raining since yesterday afternoon.

Jeff, hope Ivy going back in is just a hiccup and she's back out soon.

Morning Chillers, don't know what the weather wants to do here but it's gone dark so we may be in for some rain.
