Been a long, long day. Set off at 7.50am to Kendal for my free 6 month checkover on the Honda - got stuck behind every tractor know to man going across the Dales (Wensleydale, Hawes, Sedbergh etc. for those who know the area), so 93 miles took nigh on 2.75 hours. Left Kendal around midday and unbeknown to SWMBO, diverted up into the Pennines and on to Barnard Castle and eventually Wolsingham - where there just happens to be a reputable caravan dealer called Robsons. "We're just going to have a quick nosey" says I - so an hour and a half later, and a few quid lighter, we've bought a 4 berth, fixed double bed Ace Jubilee Statesman
Got an "acceptable" trade-in on our present 'van, so that gets rid of all the nutters responding to the Autotrader advert.

Now shattered - so off for a snooze
