what tyre pressures for towing a caravan
HI all any body recommend what tyre pressures for a ctdi diesel towing a caravan thanks john

Surely it will vary depending on the size of rim and tyre your running with?

Saloon Manual and Automatic =F 32 R 34
Tourer 34 all round Oddly enough it does not specify what size tyres and rims which I find a bit odd. Took those figure out of the handbook for the 2002 Classic SE CDT yet the earlier 1999 Handbook says:- 225/45 ZR 17 90W F 32 R 34 So make of it what you will

Not that much different to normal really, the caravan adds up to 100Kg extra load at the hitch. I use maximum pressure for a full load to the rear tyres and drop a couple of PSI at the front, because a small amount of weight is removed from the front tyres when you are hitched up.

when I was caravanning towing a Bailey Indiana my tyre pressures were at 34psi all round and had good service from the tyres and car
