[QUOTE=reworht;2421101]Well - I think I'm finally shrugging off the "bah humbug" phase and entering the "yo ho ho" phase

So whilst I'm feeling festive (is that an arrestable offence?) here's wishing everyone in the OC - but especially my friends and aquaintances in the LCOZ - a Very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous, Peaceful and Healthy New Year

I know that many of you out there have suffered losses this year, and close to Christmas these can be particularly hard to bear (I speak from experience) - but I hope that the goodwill from this Forum, and the presence of other members of your family over the festive period, will provide a little solace and allow you look to the future with renewed hope.

Rod/Rodders/Reworht
(and various other names which would be weeded out by the swear filter)[/QUOTE

Good afternoon to Rod many thanks for your kind words and Christmas greetings

Afternoon all, after not much sleep with the wind howling down the chimney all night I thought 40 winks were in order, 5 hours worth later

Gammon & rice for tea.

Hi Dawn and Julien sorry to say that Jacqueline is no better and has forbidden us to visit her as she is frighten of passing her germs on

Our grandsons Joe fiancées family have invited us over to their house for Christmas dinner which we thought was very kind

Hopefully you are still having a great time

Love Lilian and Derek

I will be glad to see the back of this terrible year, first my dad and now a member of my favourite band Rick Parfitt from Status Quo has died, along with all the other celebs that have gone this year.

Hi Derek, hope your daughter gets better soon. And for everyone in the LCOZ, have a great Christmas and New Year. Let's make 2017 a better year!

The less said about this year the better...
