Wonderful Boxing Day here, catching the southern end of storm Conor. Strong winds and the sky goes black every now and then followed by a heavy blatter of rain.

I must be mad, just snowfoamed mine & daughters car in a cold strong wind, I'm soaking wet & my ears are frozen. Time for a cuppa & feet up.

Wind was quite strong last night. Could hear the garden fence and bins clatter. Had some heavy snow this morning here on the east coast. It's been raining and snowing most of the morning. Occasionally, it will clear. Can't help but think if I was in the mountains, I would probably get a cracking image full of atmosphere...that will have to wait! Not much planned today other then moving stuff around as I'm moving bedrooms.

Be glad when this year is over, as i said yesterday, had 2 phone calls,1st one was from my younger brother to say his wife had passed away in the early hours of Christmas morning. That is 4 members of our close family in last 2 months.

That's terrible news to get at any time of year, but at Christmas time it's much harder to cope with.
My sincere condolences to you and the rest of your family.
