Default maplin solar trickle charger

HI just bought the maplin solar 1.5 watt trickle charger , is it safe to use this leaving it on all the time ,it has a part in it to stop reverse charging at night time, what I mean is it wont do any damage to the ecu will it intend to plug it into the cigarette 12v socket .cheap at £14.99 delivered, any advice please regards john

Hi, I've got the exact same charger. I leave it plugged in all the time as my car isn't being used for a while. I unplug it when I run it but other than that it's always connected. No problems, seems to do the job.
