Really saddened to hear of Barry's passing. I hadn't seen him for ages but was planning to drop in when I'm down that way in September.

I remember spending time at his home on a few occasions fitting upgrades to his previous 75 & I always felt very welcome & he always cooked up an amazing full English. I also remember the ribbing he gave me for turning up in a Skoda one time.

I've missed seeing him at meets over the last few years but he didn't travel as far afield after he lost his wife.

He was a giant of a man with a great sense of humour & he'll be a big miss to many of us on here.

R.I.P. Barry

Hi Guys and Gals,

I know you can't view Barry's Facebook page so I will copy the message his Son has posted here.......

Jeff, Truly thank you for posting this and the response from the club. I and my family will be arranging the funeral details and I know it would mean a lot to him to know that he was held in such regard.

When the funeral is arranged I will let people know, and if anyone from the club wants to attend, they will certainly be welcome.
