I'm heading up your way tomorrow night Rich - we've got tickets for John Bishop at the Metro Arena.
In the meantime, I'm off to the Doctors shortly for two appointments:
  1. Annual diabetes review - otherwise known as a lecture on healthy eating, my weight, and exercise.
  2. Annual Coronary Heart Disease review - otherwise known as a lecture on healthy eating, my weight, and exercise.

Well - I've been to the Doctors for my annual check-ups.
The good news is that the diabetes is well under control, without any medication.
Slightly less good news is that cholesterol levels are a wee bit too high, as is my blood pressure. So, a stronger dose of statins has been prescribed, together with blood pressure monitoring at home for a while - just in case the higher readings were affected by white coat syndrome.

I did ask the heart nurse if I was OK to book next year's Summer holidays and she said yes - so that's priorities sorted out

Default I am so happy

I have just returned from having the Limo tested and she passed with no advisories, and was congratulated on a well kept and lovely car, also told it was in better condition than some more modern cars they have in.
All in all well chuffed.

I’ll make sure the armed guards are out in force, in case you dare to venture a bit further west.
