Morning all - from a misty, murky and mild North Yorkshire - definitely not going to be a white Christmas here!
Went into town yesterday afternoon to top up the larder - it was absolute madness - nowhere to park, no trolleys in Morrisons, enormous queues at the checkouts, About 6.00pm last night, Angela decided that there were another half dozen things she needed to buy - so off we go again this afternoon

I'm working today, so unfortunately, can't accompany my other half to Morrison's.

Thinking of her....

Morning everyone, It's a mild grey wet morning here, fear not the frying pan is on & a full monty is on the cards.

I gentlemenly let my missus do the "Big" shop the other day I've just been in the garage and the car is still as wet as when I put it in there yesterday I think I'll get it out and give it a wash.

Well cleaning the car went well!! I tripped over the coiled hose on the power washer and fell with the lance bending the joint which now leaks like a sieve
It's beyond repairing so just had to order a replacement lance.

Just nipped to the supermarket, and my gosh, cannot move! Took me 10min to get parked as there was a massive queue getting in. And the shop itself is mobbed I can barely move. Only wanted milk, bread and a bar of chocolate. And getting out of the car park - 20 minutes!

That sounds like an exciting Christmas Rav - bread, milk and a bar of chocolate - that's one 'eck of a party you're planning

Ditto - it's mad out there - you'd think Armageddon was looming and we were stocking up our nuclear fallout shelters.
I suspect that tomorrow will be worse - if you add the people who are still at work today to the crowds - chaos !
I've locked my car up in the drive - and hidden the keys until next Wednesday
