SWMBO is worse than me - can't go five minutes without having a huge coughing fit; we've both tried alcohol - home-made raspberry gin, Capt. Morgan's Spiced Rum, brandy - hasn't helped the bug but does make you a bit wobbly on your feet.
I've never been so inactive for such a long period - 6 days now, and I've only crossed the threshold to put stuff in the bin.
Hope you recover for our visit this year,I would hate to have to eat all the pies and drink your beer

The lazy woodpecker is on next door's bird feeder again. I like its attitude, why give yourself a migraine head butting a tree when there's free food on offer.

That's the one treatment I haven't tried for the current bug - pork pies and Westons Vintage Cider (there are 14 bottles of that in the garage) - catch you later
