MG Northumbria Classic Car Show - Page 8

Well that is everything ready for tomorrow, car cleaned with the oily rag, car cleaning box, chair, umbrella packed. Put in fuel yesterday afternoon, and tickets printed off ready to hand out tomorrow. I believe that we have got 17 members attending in various cars and weather looks like it is going to be warm, and very much looking to the new event at Bywell

Just as a reminder to all, we are initially meeting at Metro Centre McDonalds and plan to depart at 0830 hrs then go on to meet remaining members at Throckley, then depart from there at 0900 hrs, so that we can get into show and not face queues. So please ensure that you collect a windscreen pass from me at one of the two locations.

On arrival we can then park up, and enjoy the great day out.

I believe from those that have expressed an interest in attending that we will have:

8 x Rover 75's
3 x MG ZTs
4 x MGTF
2 x Jaguars

PS make sure that you bring cold drinks to keep you hydrated, but there will be outlets at the venue to purchase food and drink if required

Are you parking in the public car park, as in post #54, you stated that you cannot attend ?

If you are attending the show, then you need to be in before 1030 hrs, as they will be closing the gates for show entry then

"The showground will open to entrants at 8.30am and all cars should be on site by 10.30 as the show opens to the public from 11am. It will close after the presentation of awards at 4:30 pm"

Just a wee reminder,as I am staying in North Shields tonight Sat & will hopefully be joining at mcdonalds metro centre which one is it please green or yellow area many thanks.
