Is there any chance I could join the convoy coming up from South Lakes, at Southwaite services? If you give me an estimated time, I will wait for you all on the peripheral road, near the filling station. No need to stop, I'll just join on as you drive through, and we can do the 'Howdys' when we get to Gretna. If I'm not there on time, just keep going, don't wait.

I'm not sure there is a covoy. I am traveling from Keswick so will be passing Southwaite around 10am. I will go through the services but 10 might be a bit early for you.

Have contacted Andrew Brian,Jan,Myself,Bri & Linda are planning to leave Barrow at 08.00 calling at Tebay hopefully to pick Ian & Jan up for 09.00 then on to Southwaite,are you going straight to Gretna or waiting at Southwaite,Cheers Brian.

I estimate that would put you at Southwaite 9.30 -9.40 ish, so I'll be there from 9.30, if that suits your reckoning.
