Been going to Stoke since 1963 and was and am still a season ticket holder. I think that there was a better save than the one from Pele. League Cup Semi Final second leg at Upton Park when he saved a penalty from Geoff Hurst. Stoke went on to win the League Cup on 04/03/72 (great day at Wembley) and Hurst played for Stoke for a few seasons.

Simply the BEST goalie that ever lived, sure .. there have been some exceptional goalies of late but imo none have come close to the level of talent and commitment Gordon Banks displayed.

I knew Gordan Quite well and i agree about his save but what i respected him for the most was all the Charity work he did that was not recognised for he truly deserves a Sir in his title.
A true Gentleman to everybody.
