Morning all, bright and sunny again this morning, apparently the weather is set to turn cold and wet again by the end of the week, and into next week.
The bubble had to burst soon I guess.

Good morning Jeff, yesterday the surgeon said "as we get older, we become less tolerant to dairy products and I am to stay off them, he said its old age". Apart from that, keep the weight off, cut back the caffeine, no booze and enjoy life.

Good morning Steve, the anticoagulant protocol for stents is 12 months. After the bypass in December 2015, I was told to stay on the blood thinner for life, but today I have emailed the surgeon who did the bypass and asked for his advice, if I can stop the Clopidogrel or not. He knows my vascular history and he is an eminent surgeon, appointed to the royal family, so he should know the answer.

Good morning Julien, you'll be off to Madeira soon. We have never been, I heard its a beautiful island, ahh maybe one day

The Clopidogrel medication is known to cause duodenal and stomach ulcers. It is suspect. I am making a good recovery on the ulcer healing medication and I have been told to take one Gaviscon in between meals, stay off the fry-ups and spicy foods. In 4 weeks time, I am to add on a new medication, which increases the rate at which food is emptied from the stomach. I had been suffering from gastric reflux as a result of having a Hiatus Hernia for 20 years. The new meds will stop the reflux and acid build up.

Have a great trip and take lots of photos, plenty of the other in the sand dunes

Cool

Morning all from Sunny Saltash, not a cloud in the sky. No frost last night either.

Got a blinding deal from a Lancaster multi car insurance on my three. Works out to a saving of over £400 a year. And all the extra’s that they try and get you to add on are all in the deal. Happy with that.

Good morning Bob, out of interest, do you have to submit photos to your insurance company? Every year I have to send in 7 photos of my V6, with the MOT as proof of mileage etc for the valuation to be agreed and it is a bit of a bind.

Good morning Phil, good to hear of your good news, that must have put a spring in your step.

I could get used to this winter weather, long may the jet stream be out of whack pulling up warm weather from the continent instead of the cold northerly stuff.

It's going to be hard going back to the normal wet weather when the time comes.

Thank you Roy, I have not had any coffee for 3 weeks and the black tea is not a hardship. One day at a time

Good morning Ian, thank you. The new medication to start in 4 weeks time will certainly add a spring...it is called sildenafil / viagra. I hope it does not disagree. Apparently it assists with the emptying of the stomach.

Yes they want photo’s of where the cars are parked, plus photo’s of the mileage. Each car is currently limited to a maximum of 7,500 miles a year. This was needed when I was travelling to and fro looking at property. Meant I had to use all 3 so to keep within the limits of the mileage.

The mileage will now drop as I’ll not be travelling up country as much as I have done in the past. And the plan is to sell both the Bear and Redfive at some point this year and revert back to a smaller MG to keep Banana company.
