Default No 2 on the list of "soon to be collectibles"

Interesting item in the Daily Mail. Seems some "experts" are starting to appreciate our cars .

Whilst many comments posted on the daily mail are moronic, one of the highest rated comments still shows the negative stereotypes of rover are still about.

Rover 75? Seriously. MGZR too, that'll go through head gaskets ravenously as that Rover K Series engine is soft as mud. Only one I agree with on that list is the Mazda.
I'm fairly certain the 75 is due to become a classic in a few years though, and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what people think of our cars, because we like them. I've met loads of people who think rovers are awful and every single time they've completely changed their opinion after a ride.

Daft thing is, even if a 1.8 headgasket goes, a decent repair will cost no more than a belt change on a KV6, so where's the issue .
