Cool

You can always ask a mod to intervene. Best not start the name calling as it generally ends up in a slanging match. Then we will just shut the thread down.

As already suggested pm the suspected guilty party and sort it out that way rather than putting it on the open forum.

no no, no need to involve a mod, the first post shows what they have not done.
There is no indication of who it was and what they "said". My first post was just letting a bit of frustration off. In fact I don't even recall who it was so I doubt they are a major player on the forum.

If it's not a personal attack it may just have been one of those situations where their typing fingers are a few seconds ahead of their brain, non intentional but just not thinking ahead or considering the consequences!
If it's hacking you off that much... best to pm them to get it sorted or at least get some clarification.
None of my business I know but that's what I would do, if it helps at all.

This is beginning to sound like an admission. Has the PM arrived yet?

Hahaaaa, No... no pm as yet!
Just airing my view on the subject which by the way is really 'non descript'.
I'm a great believer in sorting stuff out, letting it fester (whatever it is) a bit counter productive.

And btw mss .... I'm quite capable of getting myself into trouble and sorting it out thereafter, without may I add .... any help from you.

you are all reading too much into this.
I'll give you an example, you drive down the road, someone drives the other way and throws a bit of rubbish out of their window, It does not come close to your car but them just throwing rubbish out the window, cheeses you off.

THAT DOES IT!!

You’ve set me off now! Litter out of car windows really pi**e* me off.

Worst one was a middle aged man in our local car park opening his car door and emptying his ashtray on the ground.

Then there is the McDonalds packets left in car parks where a Litter bin just feet away!

You’ve got me ranting now Ian!!!

Aaahhhh, it's all become clear now! yeah ... I'm with you there macafee2, It hacks me right off when that kind of mindless stupidity happens.
A while ago i was sat in a Morrison car park waiting for the Mrs to finish the weekly shop when I saw a woman sitting in her (chavved up Audi A3) drop a coke can out of the window! (she was only about 30 feet from a litter bin anyway!!) at first I thought ... what a complete lazy t**t and tbh ..wasn't going to do or say anything about it but the more I thought about it the more Pi**ed off I got so just as I was getting out of my car, her partner / husband was walking toward the Audi, I waited until I knew for certain he was going to get in the car before picking up the can and handing it to her through her window and saying... 'excuse me but you seem to have dropped this in the car park'. The look on her face was just perfect ... and as I was walking away I could hear them having 'words'. hahaha.
Tbh ... I was kind of hoping she was going to get all gobby 'n' aggressive as she'd been rumbled, then I could have gone to town on her and shoved the can up her left nostril.

Having said all that ..... that's not what this is all about .... or is it?
