Haven't decided what I'm doing today but the decision will be ruled by a strong and bleedin' cold wind, rain blowing about in it as well. Need to go out at some point and get food for the girls though.

Morning all, mixed bag weather wise this morning. It’s sunny, but cloudy and a cool wind. Not in the best fettle today, I slipped on the outside door mat,and landed hard on my side,on the metal door frame,so have a large purple bruise on my hip and a smaller bruise on my elbow. Sitting in a chair is uncomfortable as is walking, which could be difficult as I need to go and drop some more business flyers today.

Inspired by Les' baking thread I'm having a go at an old fashioned home made rice pud with sultanas like my mother used to make. See what comes out of the oven in about 90 mins.

Afternoon all, it's stayed dry but we didn't see much Sun here, that wind has been strong & on the cold side too.

Early tea today, roast chicken dinner, I'm starving.

Well, it was "ok" but think I cooked it too long. Instructions were a bit vague, 90-120 minutes, next time it'll be nearer the 90.
