Cool

Morning everyone.

We have wall to wall blue sky. Thick frost last night.

Mountains of paperwork to wade through re buying the house.

Bright and sunny here but by no means warm. To add to my sleeping woes, the last few days the girls have decided 7am is a good time to wake up

You need an old border collie, they can sleep like no other.

When I went to bed last night there was a helicopter flying around, searchlight on, circling to the south of the cottages. Too small for a rescue helicopter so presume police, haven't found anything in the news about it.

Well, whether its mice or rats that are helping themselves and damaging the bird feeders this should give them something to contend with

I'll phone Police Scotland today, tell them your whereabouts and claim the reward lol

I have not yet had the MRI, the docs say inpatients are scanned at night. I have shingles around the eye and forehead with new lesions breaking out. With that and the Sinuses, the pain is unbearable. My head feels as though it is on fire. I could happily stick it in a bucket load of ice. I never had shingles before. I have started on intravenous anti retrovirus drugs and steroids inhaler for the Sinuses. Eye specialist looked inside the eye this morning and said there were no corneal ulcers. That was good news! Then the nurse came and syringed out the Sinuses. I have been started on paracetamol and codeine for the pain and it is helping. I am like an injured dogs not whimpering but here kick my wounds back to health. The guy in the bed next to me has Malaria and is on dialysis. The guy opposite him has a clot on the brain and the docs told him he is to start of Warfarin. The patient opposite me is a young doctor (specialist in Leprosy) struck down by a blood clot in his brain. He is also to start on Warfarin. I am still on the public ward waiting to be transferred to the private wing, but have been told there is waiting list. The nurses are kind and attentive Thank you for reading.

Least you're getting something for the pain Phil although I'd have thought it would have been a bit more heavy duty than paracetamol and codeine.
