Hi Julien, I am doing ok. The eye specialist visited afternoon and said once the swelling around the bad eye disappears, the sight will be fully restored. At the moment it’s still closed up. His news is most welcomed. I have been moved off the public ward into a private wing which is comfortable with A/C TV and a la cadaver menu. I can’t complain. I am waiting to see the Urologist about the bladder which was scanned this morning. Found it’s not emptying properly, due to the muscles not relaxing. Treatable with pills. I am in a much better state than I was a week ago from the shingles and Sinusitis. The nurses are fantastic. The nurse cleans the eye twice a day and then puts ointment into it. Every morning, she wheels me into the shower and attends to my needs

Actually Peter, the nurse was a bit rough with me in the shower this morning, the way she slapped my balls with what can only be described as a soaped up yellow car sponge. Beggars can’t be choosy eh
