Morning peeps.....
Weather not looking promising today My new camera body arrived yesterday and today will be it's first work out. It is a pre owned Canon EOS 1D X which is very low mileage in shutter actuations and comes with a full 12 month guarantee. The camera is the model succesor to my 1D mk4 and is kept very similar in it's design and function. It's under the hood where the improvements have been made to the Canon Flagship model. The main differences being this is a Full frame image sensor, (old body is a 1.3. APS/H crop sensor) even faster high speed shooting at up to 14 frames per second, better low light ISO handling, more megapixels and more advanced focus tracking. There is now a mk2 version but at around £5000 it is not yet within my financial grasp I am keeping my old camera body as well as all the batteries and accessories are interchangeable with each other. Gives me a back up when on a paid shoot should I have a problem with one camera. Also flexability in having two cameras at the ready with different lenses on each should the need arise. Hopefully will get some good photos from it and will share my findings in due course The other thing of course is that the new acquisition can be used to offset my tax. Better that than the government getting it

Morning al.
After yesterday’s rain, we had a frost overnight and this morning we have blue sky with just a few fluffy clouds. But more rain is expected.

We had snow this morning, now turned back to rain. Just had a call from an old woman wanting me to go today and clean sh.. from her carpet. Politely told her I wasnt available today. It would involve going to my supplier for the relevant solution and would cost her alot of money as Im not doing that for nowt.
