Morning. Been more than a little rain overnight, almighty hail shower just before going to bed and heavy rain all night by the look of it.

Afternoon all, By heck that northerly wind has picked up & it's perishing.

Had no luck trying to install those updates into the Sat Nav I downloaded the new maps to the PC but the pigeon English Chinese instructions bear no resemblance to what's on my screen

I've given up and put it back in the drawer, as for this damn Win 10 PC it's been loading updates since 10:00am this morning, the stupid thing is trying for the third time to download & install one of those big " features" updates but keeps failing then removing what it installed to start again.

Patience is now wearing thin with it, the HDrive with be getting the boot and joining the sat nav in the drawer shortly and a new SSD with Ubuntu will be installed on the thing.

You just don't get this update nonsense with Linux/Ubuntu.

Roast beef, mash, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, sprouts and onion gravy for tea. that should cheer me up if nowt else

Third time this features update has failed and it had to roll back all the installs, It's hogged up the PC for over 7 hours trying to install this damn update.
I cant find no way of disabling this big update!!!.
