Afternoon all, turned nice & sunny this afternoon so I've been planting more bedding plants & bulbs.

Cod fillets new potatoes, roast parsnips/carrots and asparagus for tea

I'm in the ward, usual pre procedure checks, handed another sheet of paper about the procedure, mentions aspirin. Err, excuse me, I'm on aspirin and nobody said anything about stopping it. Oh, the nurse went to check. Came back, can't go ahead, I should have been advised to stop the aspirin 7 days before the procedure. Felt sorry for the nurse having to pass on profuse apologies from the doctor. Now awaiting another letter!

Blimey Steve it's one step forward two steps back.

Who ever wrote up the info sheet cocked up, as I said no mention of aspirin and apparently you are supposed to fast before the procedure, no mention of that either.

Cool

Another forum member, Neil1, went into Torbay hospital today for a gall bladder operation. Sat waiting to be admitted only to be told that there were no beds available. Operation postponed till September.

Dear me! that's a heck of a wait until they can get him into surgery.

Hi Kev, if you understand the intricacies of Toaf and it works for you, then go for it. I haven’t a clue about Toaf, so can’t give an opinion about the surgery needed for your car.

I am in the pits tonight.... toothache, blooming shingles with the headaches and itching plus plus, the bad eye is swelling and closing up. I am at the hospital in the morning. Hopefully something can be done without having to go back in. I am looking forward to the rains, the cooler weather
and getting back on my feet again A big thank to Roy for covering the birthday wishes. Cheers bud
