Evening all, beautiful afternoon but cold out of the sun, that wind was a fair bit fresh too.
Roast chicken dinner for tea tonight the missus went to her weightwatchers today and has put 3lb on since last week course it's my fault for making big tasty meals

Ha! yeah She's been horse crazy since she was a child. she had the last Arab foal from birth until it passed away 20+ years later.
She must have paid a small fortune out in stabling & vets bills now she's wanting another.

I've removed the trap from the rat box and placed two packs of rat poison in the compartments, its inaccessible to the girls. The trap is weighted for a rat but I suspect the mice, who are too light to trigger it, were polishing off the bait before the rats even tried to investigate!

No sign of ratty rat then yet Steve?

I've put a few of the suet fat logs out for the birds & I've only ever seen one solitary bluet1t on them once, I end up pulling them down & binning them before they go rotten there are a few cats around here & I suppose they scare them away.

I should note at this point that horses are her business but she's had a pony/horse as soon as she was able to sit on one. Her mother trained national hunt racehorses so it was inevitable my daughter would get the bug too. You can pretty much double the price of anything if the saddleries can put equine in front of its name

Not so keen on making an appearance before it gets dark since I sent a lead pellet zinging past its ear the other evening. The food supply near the tunnel will soon dry up after moving the feeders. If they discover where I moved them to I can get a clean shot through the lounge window

Morning all, frosty here but the Sun is up & wall to wall blue skies, I could get used to these blue skies instead of the usual grey.

Morning Andy, Bob and Ian - there must be plenty of spare bacon for seconds this morning, there's been hardly anyone in the LCOZ to eat it
Nice sunny morning up here, but the wind is still biting cold - on top of what is a darned cold start to the day.
My old bones are well overdue for a spell of seriously warm sun to get 'em moving again

Morning Rod, I'd no sooner signed in this morning when Mam rang saying she'd forgotten about her warfarin appointment at the Dr's can I take her. Yes off we went then she said I think I've got an hair appointment too!, Mams getting very forgetful lately even though we write everything down on the calender.

Being a fine figure of a slob I'll take the bacon seconds I'm just about to make my breakfast now.

How did the Honda CRV repairs go?
