Smile marinabrian 160 remap

Hi all anyone who has had the 160 remap of a facelift cdti manual, can you tell me what i can expect to find different, ie mpg ect will the car still be docile in trafficwhen stuck in first gear ect, i tow a caravan once a year so this is the main reason im having it done on may 26th at the local meet,will the re,map put too much strain on the bottom end bearings and con rods or am i worrying about nothing regards jondonwar

I believe Marinabrian has said he does a 160 remap tailored especially for towers.

It seems to make no difference (to me anyway) in 1st-(maybe)3rd; but 4th/5th - Wow.
My mpg has gone up by 1-2 on local driving; 4-5 on a journey (to me more power/torque = less throttle). By my Torque App, I did 49.5 mpg on a recent cross country of 250 miles, and at times I was driving 'quickly' .
Don't know about towing, though.

I wouldn't worry too much about the mechanicals of the engine. From what I understand the same lump produced similar power (160hp?) in the 3 series BMW.
