Not at £115 delivered. Just put out a call for one that is kaput and remove the flaps yourself.

Having done this to the manifold on my ex-ZT, it was fine. Suddenly it was silent, and although a bit thirstier, it went very well. Sounded quite throaty too.

word of caution, a number of years ago I did some extensive testing of good manifold verses bad verses flapless. for the flapless on my particular 2.5 V6 auto I found that for my daily commute which involves a trip into central London (so ultra urban.) the detriment to fuel economy was in the order of 20%. on the open road giving her some beans she was livelier and had a little more top end, but the good manifold with working vis was the best for me.

Do you not miss the "vis" kick now when it all adjusts through the rev ranges?

I totally fail to see the point of this, I'm afraid.
Rover's engineers weren't mugs and didn't go with the flap setup for no reason.
It combines the best blend for performance and economy I'd bet, particularly at the speeds where we do most of our driving, ie low speeds.
But if you're happy to drink more juice, carry on

Iv done this and i didnt notice any difference in fuel economy. I do 200 miles a week to work and back on A roads that go through villages and i had the same amount of fuel left at the end of the week and didnt spend any more than i did before i did the mod.
