Default Mk1 vs mk2 better looking?

There is lots of old info on upgrading a mk1 75 or ZT to a facelift look, to make the car look newer I'm guessing, but as the cars are now old and getting older (classic status), which is the best looker? I've owned both and they both have good looks as they are pretty similar but as time goes on neither look modern so I think the mk1 has more presence and an edge over the mk2. So if you could have a new delivery miles mk1 or mk2 tomorrow of any spec which would you prefer?

Beauty is in the eye...

Personally I like the looks of the mk1 75, the chrome gives it a classy look.

I think the mk2 ZT looks good.

The Mk1 by a long shot in my opinion.. hence why we have "a few" mk1's

however - the colour can sometimes sway the preference..

I think the 75 looks nicer as a mark 1, but the ZT or ZTT looks nicer as a mark 2.

I reckon both designs look just as good as each other.

MG Rover certainly made the fronts of these motors very stylish, they are certainly not boring, ahead of their time me thinks.

As Kev has said, the colour can make a difference on each design.

but the zt in whatever they call that incredible Blue with the rear spoiler, that's the one. That colour looks good on both mk1 and mk2 zt's, but it has to have that spoiler. It sets the rear of the car off perfectly.
BUT... The mk1 needs the lower air intake thing you get on the bigger engines with the intercooler. That way you have classic, mean, meaningful, very British looks.

I like them both. I prefer the original badge though so I put it on any facelift I have
