Collectables What do you collect car wise?
Good morning all in very windy, wet and damp Wales, yeah the weathers lovely out there.
Out of curiosity anyone here collecting any car related goodies? For a while now I've been buying models of 75's ZT's and Probes as well, I think got the majority just the chrome once I need now. Also finished my entire magazine collecting on Ford probes every single one 41of them in fact. Starting on the 75/ZT mags now and already bought my first one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTOCAR-MA...YAAOSws5pZNFwK Same one as this one.

I have a massive collection of classic model Mini's.
No picture as I never took one and they are all boxed up at the moment. I do still buy the occasional one when I see them at car boot sales or local markets. Plus I have a thing about Victorian glass, decanter's, glasses and bottles, have been collecting this on and off for 30 odd years. I know I have 5 decanters and about a 100 plus glasses and about 50 or so bottles, thankfully these are small bottles. My late Father collected car mascots which I now have. Then I have 3 stamp collections, post card collection and a coin collection. I have car spares going back to the very first car I ever owned a Vauxhall Victor 101, then onto Mini's of which I had seven, hate to think how many Mini spares I have. Plus I now have Rover 75 spares, 3 years worth of collecting.... The problem is I hoard and can't bare to part with any of it, although I should really. I could do with the space as my garage is full almost to the roof and to the door.

A lot of the stuff I've bought have been from carboot sales and also car clubs as well, been collecting car magazines for years mainly Fords, but do have a few British Leyland mags as well too promote the company and there selection of cars, mainly the Austin Princess, Legaro Triumph Stag and of course the ROVER SD1 Vitesse mags. Also been collecting these mags too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CUSTOM-CAR...IAAOSwvihY9zMr My dad and his work mates enjoyed reading these and for a good reason too. I know the feeling I horde quite a bit, got 6 engines and gearboxes that I've taken out of cars and plenty of spare parts as well. You find when you start selling, few week later you find that the part you sold you need it. No more selling for me unless its life or death.
