Heater blowing, no heat.
My car has recently hit this issue.
I had the aircon re-gased at the start of summer so I haven't used the heating. The last few days though have been a pain. The gauge is at 9 o'clock no heat, drive for nearly 20 miles no heat and get frozen fingers and a steamed up windscreen. I did have to top up the water bottle because the water was low which I put down to a hot summer. The car is a diesel 2.0. Help. |

If the level goes low the first thing you notice is a cold cabin, so you need to find and sort the coolant leak.
Check the thermostat housing and small pipe going into it and also the radiator top hose connection where it enters the cylinder head. . Last edited by Mike Noc; 25th September 2020 at 14:12.. |

If it were a V6 I'd say you have an airlock, don't know much about diesels though.

The diesels can airlock too, although they tend to be more forgiving than the petrol versions.
I would try re bleeding the system and see what happens.

Sadly that isn't a quick fix.
