I always try to give a wave, but I don't think there are many 75's around Hertfordshire I'll keep a look out for you, mine is a silver 75 tourer!

Hi

I won't say this county is awash with 75's or ZT's but there are a few about. I generally do give some form of salute however the response rate is about 1 in 20. Most examples i tend to see look a bit the worse for wear TBH which is likely to be a fair indicator of the interest of the occupant.

Still I will continue to do the right thing in the hopes of engendering that spark of interest in the owner.

Default 5 years on...

I posted this thread when I got my first '75 and just stumbled across the thread again.

Have things changed in 5 years for you folk?

There seem to be fewer on the road around here so the opportunities are less, probably why I drove fair distances for breakfast and nano meets...

...although I try not to wave at people across the breakfast table...

Happy Roving

John

Has anyone waved at a 75/ZT when not in their 75/ZT, and end up getting a strange look?

Sometimes it's easy to forget what car you're driving.

I wave if in the 75 or ZT. If not, I put a thumbs up. Rarely get any response, but I like to be friendly.
