I've hard my car 3 months and she's done about 500 miles, none since before Christmas as she only comes out when it's dry.

Well fortunately I know most of my cars history as my father owned it from 2 and a half years old, although as a company car had already notched up 80k by then! He gave it to me last November and I used it until the MOT ran out in September. She now needs a front suspension overhaul and an ABS issue sorting, so off the road until it warms up a bit! Anyway, I've spoken to my father at length about it and it transpired that he had to spend very little on it over the years, just wear and tear items mostly. As far as the engine and components are concerned, the only thing he's replaced is the alternator. No fuel pumps, no injectors, no turbo, no sensors, nothing! I couldn't quite believe it, but in his ownership it cost him very little. She starts first turn of the key every time, doesn't smoke and still feels strong. She was off to the knackers yard but I just couldn't let it happen. Suspension wise, she's tired, very tired as that too is all original with nothing replaced. Even so, I think she wears her 232k well and in my eyes worth the time and expense to save. I fell into MG ownership, and must say that I'm very happy to be here.
Cheers all Jay

Yay
Well it's got there..... on the way back from work today it got to the moon, but couldn't stop to take a picture, so had to do that after I got home.
So now on the way back to earth again.... wonder if it'll make it?

Christine in 4th place.
I did quite a bit of mileage in her. When I had her.

Boo hoo, I cannot see my name on the list.
I posted my mileage august 2016 when I was already on my way back. I am a bit closer to home now so will post the current reading later to see if I can get a bit higher up the listings. My Wifes 1.8 is on around 144,000 now so still quite a way to go to get there. When I check my mileage I will be able to work out when I pass her on my way back so I can give her an encouraging wave. I have no chance of getting on this list, Not done 40K yet. But I don't mind. Glad to see so many 75s and ZTs going so well.
