Most of you will know that in March this year I had a cardiac event and at the end of September I had major surgery to repair an abdominal aortic aneurysm which had become enlarged and dangerous. Both heart and aneurysm are now fixed and I am well again, so we are viewing the future positively and I am counting my blessings.

Recently I have booked to fly back to Kenya in just over 2 weeks time where I am planning on getting back into photography having upgraded the camera and lens etc,

Here is a photo from my archives I took on May 27 2021 of a Bee-Eater in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa.

Thank you for looking and thank you very much for your patience, friendship and support through our difficult times.

Hi Phil,

I'm very much looking forward to seeing the results you get from your new kit when you get back out there.

Onwards and upwards with your recovery and hope we get to catch up soon

Thank you Fred, my apologies for not being able to make it to the meets. A mutual friendly mechanic who likes to enjoy his privacy on the boards is giving us a lift to the airport. It’s so very kind of him to help out. Thank you Fred for your good wishes and thoughtfulness, much appreciated by Jessica and myself.

Good morning Jeff and thank you for the encouragement. I am sorry to hear about your troubles with the shoulder and the eye. Thank goodness you are receiving treatment.

I am not sure when we will be able to make it over to Lady Emma, a beautiful thought

Hi Phill & Jessica,

The door is always open (cabin door that is) and I'm sure we shall make it happen at some point soon

Here are a couple of photos from my archives from last year of a colourful stork, seen in the wetlands of Amboseli National Park. Apologies for any noise or lack of feather details.
