Wanted Rover 75 Diesel
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for a Rover 75 Diesel connosieur manual box (as well specc'd as poss for the price) for my friend who has just become a pensioner and he wants something that will last him and is reliable. He does approx 6,000 miles per year. I have a budget of Max £1500 which from Ebay seems will buy quite a good 51 / 02 plate with 100k miles. If anyone can keep an eye open for me I dont mind travelling a bit. (I live near Dover, Kent but have a mobile home at Northampton) for the right car. I dont even mind one with (Minor) issues that need sorting. I can be reached via pm and will respond. I'll be lending him my 4.6 Range Rover but thats on Ebay for sale so dont know how long it will be available for! Thnaks in Advance Ray

Unfortunately it's a petrol model. But I do agree, if the head gaskets are ok it will be a cheap car for someone

Yes. Classics were plain velour cloth with contrast piping, Clubs were "speckle" velour which was a bit posher with a bit of a pattern, and the seats in the connies were made of cow. Connoisseurs were easy to spot on account of the chrome mirror backs, but many drivers have retro fitted these.

Well no.. The pre facelift Connoisseur were all fitted with leather seats [could be specified with cloth seats as a no cost option]. When the facelift Connoisseur was introduced in 2004 Axis cloth seats were standard. Leather seats were standard on the facelift Connoisseur SE In late 2004 the specification for the Connoisseur was changed to leather seats. Dave T |
