Default CDTI Crank Pulley Locking Tool

About to tackle the CDTI crank pulley and want to get a hold of the correct tool that fits in the castellations to ease removal and aid in re-torquing.

Anyone available to rent/hire/borrow or even buy?

Hi Oliver.
There are a few on the bay.

Are you going to fit a Corteco pulley as any others are false economy, buy cheap buy twice.

I would also change the two belts at the same time.

Thanks, i've just ordered one on eBay as I was unable to find one to borrow.

I ordered a Corteco pulley after reading about the failures of seemingly every other brand(!)

I ordered the belts from Autodoc, 5PK875 & 5PK2030 by Contitech.

Do I need to replace the tensioners/idlers at the same time?
Car is on 98,000 so not super high mileage.

HI Oliver.
Contitech belts are good as well have used them in the past, and would use again.

The tensioners/idlers should be ok just feel and spin them to check the bearing are smooth good luck with the fitting.
