Very disturbing first episode for me as apparently I am a cop killer
(Kevin Hales) got my backside kicked by Gene Hunt. Please can I have a re-match and fight the lovely Keeley.

It was a good episode... i agree life on mars was a hard act to have to follow... but i do still enjoy watching ashes to ashes... i'm especially loving the music... oh the old days... you can't beat the 80's

The 80's music was cool - you just can't turn the volume up when in the car

I don't know, there seems to be a lot of the old 80's music being sampled nowadays

I thoroughly enjoy the 'unPCishness' of it.

However, I think it has enough going for it as an 80s cop series to drop the ridiculous voices etc from the future.

Think the comparison with Life on Mars is inevitable and as it was the first sticks in peoples minds. However, I do not think that whatever the actresses name is is the best for the part - Jo Brand would do better

I love it and I find Gene Hunt incredibly sexy in a you jane me tarzan kinda way. He can club me over the head and drag me back to his cave anyday.
