Default alarm

i have never heard my alarm so wouldnt know if it works or not. is it a voltage drop alarm. how do i go about setting it off. is it the same tone as the horn

Set the alarm with the window down and then wave your arms about into the car once it has set. that should set the motion sensor off

the doors dont open from the inside when locked. thats using the locking button inside. is it a voltage drop type

Is't the alarm sounder the same unit that makes the sound when you try and lock the car with the door open?

If you have an ultrasonic sensor, (Early ones live drivers side above the B pillar, later ones in the middle of the roof), then yes the alarm will go off if you wave your arms about.

The alarm will only go off if you open the door.....
