Default Was Liverpool / city score good result

Liverpool win 4 3 against Manchester city.
They were 4 1 up with about 10 minutes to go.

was 4 3 a good result in the end or did Liverpool just leak like a sieve again?

In part I feel an excellent win, scoring 4 goals against city but letting in 2 in 10 minutes just makes it hard for them as other teams will think just keep going and we may get something.

Could easily have finished 4-4.Aguero narrowly missing with a diving header in the dying seconds of added time.Great game.

I know damienp will have enjoyed it

Irrespective of the final score the game was full of entertainment. And that is what true football fans want to see. Man U fans may brag that they got a point at Anfield, but does anyone remember that game.
Chelsea and Man U are playing Italian style football which will eventually drive fans away.
There were no Buses parked up at Anfield today.

Good match. Liverpool played very well. I said to Keith before the game that I reckon Liverpool will win this one. When they attack, they’re as good as any other team in Europe. It’s just their defence and goalkeeper that let them down. Man City didn’t play bad at all today. They just lost to a better side on the day.

Said this on another thread, we got sloppy, 4-1 would have been a great win but 4-3 is good and it did break M/C`s run of win`s.

agree 4-1 would have been fantastic, 4-3 was still a good result but not fantastic.
It was also a good win/ statement to make after Coutinho had left. I thought his leaving like Sterling was a great blow to Liverpool. This proves 1 player does not make a team.

Their attack is good, just sort out their blessed defence. They need to do well this year in the competitions they are in and premier league so as to make inroads to getting back to their glory days and prepare for next season.

Robertson seems to be doing well, been a pleasure to watch him.
