Jumped ship again,
Having spent this winter with the temperture gauge not making it to normal for six days of the week I decided the Skoda Superb was just not the right car for the job. As a long term keep (my intention) it stood to reason that DPF failure would be an inevitable result. It was a lovely car, super comfy and with all the toys but common sense must prevail. So, after fourteen odd years of oil burners I have returned to the petrol pump. Although I will never get the 75 out of my system, the Skoda has helped with the transition. Part of me wanted to turn it into a Rover clone, an impossible task but the leather and comfort helped. I have found the transition back to cloth very easy and I am actually enjoying the Ford. She's four with 25,000 on her so should hold me for a good few years. It's been an expensive lesson for me as I considered returning to petrol when the 75 went and that would have been the sensible route.
I'm sticking around here (as always) for good solid input and banter, Briskoda is ok but not the same, I'm still a member of TalkFord from years back but you all know where my first port of call will always be. |

Nothing wrong with a Ford, I have one, well it's a Ford engine in a ZTT.
Don't be a stranger, always welcome.
