Battery failed
Morning chaps,
SWMBO's battery has failed and it's time for a new one. Where's the best place to get a new one these days? |

I've always found Halfords to be good. Good Warranty and easy to return if there is a problem.

Suggest you also look at www.tayna.co.uk for comparison.

Ordered one from Tayna. £18 cheaper than Halfords and delivered to my door.
Thanks chaps. Update: ordered the battery online in the afternoon and it arrived the next day. That is pretty good service. Recommended. Last edited by jonathan63; 5th March 2018 at 13:43.. |

Don't know if you kept the old battery but it will have some scrap value. Euro car parts gave me £3 for mine when I bought some spares from them and I expect any motor factor who sells batteries will do the same.

Are you able to use the hold-down clamp and strap with a battery 315mm long? Our cars do not need more than an 096/100 type battery, even with V6 or diesel engine. |
