Default spare whhel and tool tray in a Tourer

Am I right in thinking you can fit a full size spare with a tyre in the wheel well of a Tourer and also have a tool tray under the carpet? I think the wheel may be 16inch

This is on a face lift.

thanks

I have a full size (18' Hairpin) in the boot of my ZT-T and a tool tray under the boot floor in the correct place. Boot floor closes properly. The "Space Saver" spare is in fact a "Money Saver".

Not sure about a tourer but it works in my facelift saloon. Just be careful not to damage the face of the alloy on the raised section around the retaining bolt/wheel. (My newly refurbished spare wheel was placed very carefully into its resting place!!!). I had to turn the tool tray so that it didn't foul the lifting handle on the high point or you would end up with the handle projecting upwards. My carpeted boot floor may sit a smidge higher.

Absolutely, so called space saver wheel/tyres are another way for the manufacturer to screw the buyer over, they serve no purpose other than taking you to a garage.
This is now been replaced by a glutinous, gunk in a tin can to be spayed into a punctured tyre, serves no purpose at all, NEVER use it, call the breakdown service out to take you to garage.

I myself will never purchase a car without a full size alloy/tyre negotiated into price, don't let sales assistant pull wool over eyes any bull from assistant, and deal is off.
