And another one just sold, so a little nearer the 300 . Meant to get a copy when it first came out, but somehow forgot all about it, so thanks for the timely reminder .

Oh, and welcome to the forum

Hello John,
Following our discussion, really pleased you've joined the Forum.

I can vouch for all the other comments about this excellent piece of work, and I've watched it twice over thus far [it's taken longer than anticipated due to finding my TV didn't like the DVD format and ran in black and white, so old laptop with DVD drive came to the rescue, plus getting conjunctivitis that stopped me watching anything!]. Some nuggets in there like the M47R diesel being made specially for Rover to be the prototype for BMW's version.

I agree you should get a 75 or ZT to run around in and give the TR7 a rest occasionally!

Hope this helps to generate the additional sales to meet the 300 figure

Kevin

Is there a way to obtain a digital version of it? Even if I order a DVD, optical units such as Cd-Rom's and DVD-Rom's are obsolete here for years and I have no way to play it

I'll second that for a digital copy. If possible, I usually go for downloads rather than discs, as I try to save on physical storage space. I have personal cloud based PC storage with separate backup, much easier than physical items.

Despite some heavy hints, I didn't get this from Father Christmas.

I ordered up a copy and have to say that I think it is excellent.
It is a must buy for anyone interested in the history of the car.

I know that it is a good car, but I didn't appreciate how far forward they were in World leading design, development and production.

I am sure the maker John Clancy has some dvd's left to sell. You can buy it here;

A very nice dvd, recommended to buy. Happy to see my personal Dorchester Red 75 is on the cover of the dvd.

Enjoy it.

I'd try sending John an email through the forum using his members link:-
