Default Help with the spice tourers heater

This is the place where we all shout Help. So I have got one, the Monogram spice tourers heater fan has taken to doing what ever it wants. It will either work as normal or the fan for the cabin heating does not run at all. Every time I get my old bones ready to go out and investigate the non running heater fan. I go out and the blessed thing is working properly then a few days later no fan then for no reason it will start again. it resuming operation is not always after the car is started it can be not running and then all of a sudden it will start running.
Suggestions please as it is driving me mad. At this time of year I go out with the dog and want to demist the front window press the button taking it off auto and nothing but there was probably nothing when it was on auto.

Select R to back into the drive and the thing starts working.
Can any body shed any light on this one please at my age I wont have that much longer hear, perhaps 20 years perhaps 20 days, but if this keeps happening it will be sooner rather than later.
HELP!!!!!!!!!

Default

I had my old hearing aids in this morning and quite by chance I could hear the fan starting up, something that either because of the dog barking in the back or my good hearing aids don’t pick up the frequency the fan runs at.
Anyway I heard the motor starting and it sounded a bit rough perhaps bearing or brushes. It just did not sound right but only before it picked up speed.
Can anybody point me in the direction of a how to for the heater motor.
