Default Talented friend.

A mate of mine made this in his small garden shed. Only started this woodworking has a hobby when he retired, has never been a Carpenter.

Was that from a kit, or scratch built? Either way, it's impressive

When I was a kid I made the Airfix HMS Victory model. My mother chucked it because it was dusty and she couldn't clean it

My father was a great model maker He was helping my young cousin build a model of a Viking longship. He was scrutinising the plans to try to see where a particular part went . . . . the part in question turned out to be the top of the tube of glue
