Default Drivers window- one touch

Drivers window one touch down working. Activated one touch up in toaf but then the window doesn't go up (have to keep pressing the switch on and off as window moves up a few mm at a time and when switch Is held moves a few mm then stops). Turn off one touch up in toaf and you can hold the switch and window goes all the way up manually but just not one touch.

Is there a reset procedure or is something faulty?

I suspect there is something wonky with the pinch sensor in (or under?) the top window channel weatherstrip. Sorry, I can't tell you which connector it is (hopefully another fellow here with experience can say), but I would open that connector and make sure the contacts are clean and tight - as a first step.

Is this something you have added or did they used to work?
If recently added I would suspect " One shot up" and "One shot up anti trap" is not activated in the ZCS coding string.

Go back to toaf and check pinch is off. I seem to recall a similar issue, I'm trying to activate one shot on the passenger side. It made all the windows go into pinch mode as the bcu (I assume) was looking for the non existent sensor.

It has been a while, but i think if you uncheck all the modes, it will set it back to default.

I seem to recall it happened around the time I turned off deadlocking in toaf. Have read it can cause some issues with other settings. So make sure close by pinch is deactivated? Anything else to check or uncheck on there that would affect one touch up?

I cannot recall to be honest. But I did check the one touch close on the passenger, and it immediately went to pinch mode. If I recall also, the drivers side did too, but I didnt touch it.

My first use of TOAF caused an issue with the remote release, without me even opening that module! I had to go into it and uncheck the tailgate release (which had checked itself) and leave the boot/trunk release ticked. My car is a saloon, and the both tailgate and boot release were simultaneously checked.

There are known to be bugs around TOAF, I suspect that that it has something to do with it being derived on BMW software (whose cars would have antitrap on all windows compared to ours on the drivers door). It is good enough though, but back everything up, be cautious, and if you are unsure, avoid using it.

Exclamation Same happens to me...

Hi Tom:

I have the same problem right now.
I'm going to check this weekend to see if I can get it working properly again.
If not I will make a backup of my other Rover that is working properly and restore it to see what happens.
On the other hand, the miracle of the disconnected battery did not work for me.

Kind regards
Joel Antonio

These cars keep you busy! So in toaf, close by pinch was active. After turning off, the window now goes up all the way when holding the switch but still no one touch up, even though activated in toaf. Have left battery off overnight and will reconnect and test later. Unfortunately, I did not take a backup so I cannot restore
